this might be long and meaningless and get like no reblogs but I’m just trying to figure this out… I know that I and many other people feel like the people on tumblr are way better than the people in their school or their town and that you just wish you could know people like your tumblr friends in real life but the reality is more than half your school probably has tumblr and that girl you “hate” is probably someones tumblr best friend. This concept really makes me think why is tumblr so much better than the real world? why is it that people can act one way in their everyday life and be a totally different person on tumblr? Its because Tumblr takes away all pressure, pressure to be a certain way, to look a certain way, act a certain way. Tumblr is a place to be yourself without judgements or fear of being rejected.  So it makes me think this is a place so much better than the real world a place everyone loves everyone accepts and loves, the people on tumblr are so much better because they are themselves nothing else because they are not afraid and they are not afraid because they know they are safe here no one is going to judge them and now can you imagine if we all just stopped living in fear in our everyday lives if we acted ourselves and accepted our neighbours maybe we could live our lives, our real lives just like we live our tumblr lives and than and only then would we stop being able to say the people on tumblr are so much better than the people at my school.
